Following the conclusion of the season, Pete Thomas has stepped down from his role as Backs and Attack Coach.
Pete joined Bonymaen ahead of the 2022/23 season, taking the next step in his coaching journey. From the moment he arrived at the club, he quickly got to work in putting his stamp on Bonymaen RFC.
In his first season, Pete contributed hugely as the club gained promotion and a league title in Division 1 West Central league title.
His attention to detail, analysis, and passion for rugby helped allowed us to enjoy back to back promotions and into the Community Premiership.
During his third season, Pete helped take the club to another level and pushed players to play fearless and brave rugby, earning results that will forever be etched in history of Bonymaen.
Following our relegation back to the Championship West, Pete’s focus and standards have always pushed the club forwards. Resulting in one of the most decorated seasons in the clubs history, a much anticipated Silver Ball became the cherry on the top of Pete’s fantastic spell at the club.
Everyone at Bonymaen would like to thank Pete and his family for their commitment to the club. With Pete now coaching in our junior set up, the entire club is grateful that he made the decision to become a Bonymaen Boy.
