Bonymaen RFC Ladies
Established in 2016, Bonymaen RFC Ladies are proudly celebrating their 10th season — a decade of passion, progress, and dedication to the red and black. Since forming, the team has gone from strength to strength, quickly rising through the ranks and earning promotion to the WRU Women’s Premiership in 2019, cementing their place among Wales’ top women’s rugby clubs.

Over the years, the squad has achieved outstanding success both on and off the field, including:
Cup Finalists 2022/23
Plate Winners 2023/24
Cup Finalists 2024/25
A true highlight in the club’s journey is playing on the biggest rugby stage in Wales — the Principality Stadium.. on three seperate occasions.
On that unforgettable days bus loads of passionate Bonymaen supporters travelled to Cardiff to cheer the team on, creating a sea of red and black in the stands and showcasing the incredible community spirit that defines the club.

The team continues to build on its reputation for talent, teamwork, and resilience — with players achieving recognition at higher levels of the game.
Hannah Jones and Amy Price are current Welsh League players, proudly representing Bonymaen on the national stage.
Several players have also worn the Ospreys Women’s jersey, including Georgia Stevens, Demi Stevens, Sophie Moore, Angharad Jones, and Lauren Weaver, highlighting the depth of talent developed within the club.
A special mention goes to Coach Colin Jones, who was recognised as the Ospreys Women’s and Girls Volunteer of the Year in June 2019, a testament to his dedication and leadership that have been instrumental in the team’s continued success.

Now firmly established in the Premiership, Bonymaen RFC Ladies continue to grow year on year — developing players, strengthening the squad, and proudly representing the club at the highest level of Welsh women’s rugby.
