Code of conduct

Bonymaen Rugby Football Club is committed to upholding the highest standards of behaviour, respect, and sportsmanship both on and off the field.

As a club affiliated with the Welsh Rugby Union (WRU), Bonymaen RFC fully adopts and supports the WRU Code of Conduct. This code applies to all players, coaches, officials, volunteers, members, parents, and spectators involved with the club.

The Code of Conduct sets out clear expectations regarding behaviour, fairness, respect for others, and the values of rugby. By being part of Bonymaen RFC, everyone agrees to uphold these principles and contribute to a safe, inclusive, and positive environment for all.

Any breaches of the Code of Conduct will be taken seriously and may result in disciplinary action in line with WRU and club procedures.

Bonymaen RFC Code of conduct

At Bonymaen RFC, we take pride in upholding the values of respect, teamwork and integrity. All players, parents and guardians are expected to behaviour in a manner that positively reflects the club.

Player Code

  • Respect the referee at all times without argument or complaint
  • Treat all team mates, opposition players and coaches with respect and kindness
  • Play to the best of my ability and support my team in a positive manner
  • Never use bad language or behave aggressively on or off the pitch

Parent / Guardian Code

  • Support all players, referees and coaches in a positive and respectful manner
  • Not shout at, criticize, or argue with referees, coaches, players or other spectators
  • Be a role model for respectful behaviour at all games and training sessions

Failure to follow the code of conduct may result in disciplinary action
