There was a special atmosphere at Parc Mawr on Wednesday night as a huge crowd packed the stands for our final league fixture of the season — and what a night it turned out to be for Bonymaen RFC
With supporters lining the pitch and filling the clubhouse before kick-off, the occasion had all the feeling of a massive night for the club. The boys didn’t disappoint, producing another strong performance to cap off an outstanding season and officially secure the Championship West title.
Following the final whistle, representatives from the Welsh Rugby Union presented the squad with the Championship West winners trophy in front of players, supporters, volunteers, sponsors and the next generation of Bonymaen players proudly wearing the black and red around the pitch.
The celebrations that followed were a reflection of the hard work, commitment and togetherness shown throughout the entire 2025/26 campaign. From players and coaches to volunteers behind the scenes and the supporters who travelled in numbers all season long, this achievement belongs to the whole club.
Winning the Championship West title and securing promotion to the Premiership marks another huge milestone in the recent history of the club and continues the incredible progress being made both on and off the field at Parc Mawr.
Thank you to everyone who came out on Wednesday night and created an atmosphere worthy of champions.
